Facility Operator
Job Description:
Pitt Meadows Arena is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part time Zamboni Operator to join our operations team. This role is responsible for maintaining safe, high-quality ice conditions during evening and weekend programming.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Operate the Zamboni to resurface ice between rentals and events
- - Perform basic ice maintenance and inspections
- - Monitor ice conditions and report any issues
- - Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines
- -Routine facility cleaning
Schedule Details:
- Evening shifts and Weekend shifts
- 2–5 nights per week
- Weekend availability required
Qualifications:
- - Previous Zamboni or ice resurfacing experience preferred (training may be provided)
- - IFO certification or higher
- - Ability to work independently and reliably
- - Physically capable of operating equipment and working in a cold environment
- - Valid driver’s license
